A beautiful, artistic eleven staired **Golu Padi** of dolls was set up on our auditorium stage. 

It has always been a gesture at SVSSS to recognise festivals through the year, to reinforce the significance of our age old tradition. The festival of keeping Golu and celebrating this time period with family and close friends is a social activity of the highest level. 

Navratri at school is being celebrated by parents of Pre-Primary and Primary. Colourful Rangoli was done by them around the stage.  Parents took the initiative of distributing Prasadams like Kesari and Sundal to all the Pre-Primary children and Thaamboolam distribution while exiting.  

We invoke the Goddesses Parvathi,  Lakshmi and Saraswati through daily Poojai and Aarathi. We welcome parents and friends all through nine days to view the Golu and take the blessings of these Goddesses.
