We celebrated pongal with much fun and tradition. The celebrations started with children invoking the blessings of Lord Ganesha, followed by children from primary singing various tamil folk songs. There where over 50 parents taking part in the annual traditional pongal making competitions which was judged by our aunty. The events concluded with the much awaited uriyadi, a traditional tamil sport where our children from 11 and 12 took part along with the teachers.
