Even before the divine Margazhi is yet to set its divinity in our atmosphere, Vailankanni school atmosphere was filled with utmost spirituality and harmony.
The art in the form of music and dance brought student performers from across Chennai schools under one roof and one went spell bound watching their mesmirizing performance.
Shrine Vailankanni Global school auditorium witnessed some of the fabulous performances by budding artists in both classical dance and classical music. As much as the name carries the expression and performances were classical too.
The Mesmirising Margazhi – a celebration of our culture, left the audience mesmerized as the singers rendered some of the beautiful kritis composed by Sri Annamacharya and Sri Thyagaraja.
The classical dancers from Shrine Vailanakanni Sr Sec School zapped the audience with enthralling performance. While the whole school arena had the music lingering in air, students of SVGS had also planned some stalls for the visitors which had products like organic-soaps, Bio manure and delicacies. To proclaim proudly all of these products from soaps to food were solely prepared by our own students from the knowledge gain through our Vocational Training session and our in-house composting project.
With motivational words and acknowledgement for their effort and talent, the artists were also felicitated with certificate of appreciation by our Chair person Mrs.B.K.K.Pillai.
This cultural event is one of its kind as the participants came forward with utmost interest purely show-casing their earnest respect and passion for the art.
