The 55th year of Shrine Vailankanni Sr Sec School indeed commenced with a BANG!!
K.P.G.Panicker - Volleyball Tournament between the 27th and the 29th of June 2019, witnessed participation of more than 50 teams! And that's a big number given the number of events that take place in the city of Chennai.The Tournament witnessed not just stiff competition, but some amazing skills displayed by the players. Service, being the first weapon that can generate an immediate point was attacked and defended beautifully by strong teams that made it to the quarter and semi-finals. But it was the Forearm Underhand, Overhand and Attack that made the 2 teams to reach the Finals.
P.S.Matriculation Higher Secondary School won the Finals while A.J.S. Matriculation Higher Secondary School were the Runners-Up. Both teams displayed raw power simultaneously keeping up the spirit of sportsmanship.
